The Buzzards Bay Swim is pleased to offer free bus transportation to the start line for registered swimmers and kayakers, departing from the finish line parking lot at Fort Phoenix Beach in Fairhaven. Now you can swim across the outer harbor to find your car waiting for you at the finish line!

There is one bus on the morning of Saturday, June 30, departing promptly from Fort Phoenix Beach parking lot in Fairhaven at 5:45am and arriving at the Start Line about 6:10am, leaving you plenty of time to check in and warm up before the 7am safety briefing.

The shuttle is provided free for your convenience, but space is limited. Please sign up here to reserve your seat today!

Please note that guests are not allowed on this shuttle, as there is no return shuttle. Rather, guests are encouraged to park and wait at Fort Phoenix for you to arrive by sea! Additionally, the shuttle cannot accommodate kayaks. Please arrange to drop your kayak off at the start line in advance.

Green Street in Fairhaven dead ends into the Fort Phoenix Beach parking lot. Look for a volunteer with a Buzzards Bay Swim shuttle sign to await the shuttle. 

THIS IS A SHUTTLE FOR SWIMMERS and KAYAKERS (minus their kayaks) ONLY. Many spectators park at the start, watch the start, then drive over (20 minutes) to watch the swimmers arrive at the finish. If you are worried about missing your swimmer, best to watch the entire time from the finish line.
