If you’re taking the plunge at the Buzzards Bay Swim - or just considering it - join us at the finish line at DCR's Fort Phoenix Beach in Fairhaven, MA for an open water swim clinic and event orientation on Saturday, June 23 at 9:30AM. 

Buzzards Bay Swim Event Manager Deb Hood will offer an overview of the event and answer questions about the Swim and YMCA Southcoast Swim Coach (and long-time Buzzards Bay Swimmer) Brett Pacheco will offer first-hand knowledge of the course and tips for improving your efficiency, stroke, and sighting in open water. 

This swim clinic is open to those registered – or considering registering – for the Buzzards Bay Swim on June 30. Wetsuits are highly recommended if water is below 67 degrees. Bring your wetsuit, goggles, and questions and we'll jump in for a practice swim together! Feel free to bring friends that might be interested in learning more about the Swim.
