If you’re taking the plunge at the Buzzards Bay Swim - or just considering it - join us at the finish line at DCR's Fort Phoenix Beach in Fairhaven, MA for an open water swim clinic and event orientation on Saturday, June 16 at 11AM. 

Buzzards Bay Swim Event Manager Deb Hood will offer an overview of the event and answer questions about the Swim and YMCA Southcoast Swim Coach (and long-time Buzzards Bay Swimmer) Brett Pacheco will offer first-hand knowledge of the course and tips for improving your efficiency, stroke, and sighting in open water. 

This swim clinic is open to those registered – or considering registering – for the Buzzards Bay Swim on June 30. Wetsuits are highly recommended if water is below 67 degrees. Bring your wetsuit, goggles, and questions and we'll jump in for a practice swim together! Feel free to bring friends that might be interested in learning more about the Swim.
